Called Hippomobile, the tea service features playful designs and vibrant colourful pieces that you can mix and match—adapting easily to morning coffee or afternoon tea. The designs actually take inspiration from an engraving from the Émile Hermès collection. The Hermès Hippomobile tea service comprises of mugs, tea cups, saucers, and dessert plates, among others. Each piece featuring a colourful design, showing off Pagni’s artistic vision. Many pieces, like the tea cups and plates, also show off a continuous design that feature different parts of a horse. Each piece can stand on its own, or match the set to complete the iconic Hermès horse—a perfect excuse to purchase the whole collection!
Created by artist Gianpaolo Pagni, the pieces were drawn from jockey silks and the world of cartoons. “I envisioned a horse with an elongated back that could hold several riders. A kind of limousine horse,” the Italian artist shared.
